Education Access Fund
Reducing barriers to learning for students and educators in under-resourced settings.
About this programme
The Education Access Fund supports organisations removing the practical barriers that keep learners out of education — cost, distance, language, disability and circumstance. It funds multi-year work where needed, because meaningful change in educational outcomes rarely happens in twelve months.
What this funding can cover
- Tuition support, scholarships and fee relief for learners facing financial barriers
- Teacher training and classroom resource programmes
- Digital access: devices, connectivity and learning platforms
- Transport, meals and materials that make attendance possible
- Staffing for literacy, numeracy and catch-up programmes
Who can apply
- Schools, education nonprofits and learning networks
- Projects reaching learners facing structural barriers to education
- At least twelve months of operating history
- A named project lead and safeguarding arrangements where minors are involved

How we help you win the Education Access Fund
You don't have to figure this out alone. Our grant professionals work with you at every stage — from first idea to final submission.
Define measurable learner outcomes
We help you translate broad goals like 'improve attainment' into specific, assessable outcomes — attendance rates, progression, completion — with a realistic baseline and targets.
Structure a multi-year request
For requests above $100,000 we help you phase the work across years, with sensible tranche points and reporting commitments the panel can rely on.
Document your evidence base
We guide you in citing the research or local evidence behind your approach, and in presenting your own results so far in a way assessors trust.
Prepare safeguarding and governance documents
Education applications are checked for safeguarding and governance basics. We review these with you early so nothing delays a strong application.
Applications are open now — deadline 15 Jan 2027
Start early. Applicants who request guidance at least four weeks before the deadline submit noticeably stronger applications.
